Today, we’re excited to announce the release of a new version of the Berkeley Publisher. Please find below an overview of new features and enhanced functionalities our developers have been busy working on or download the software directly below.
Pictures in Word
Visual communication is becoming increasingly important in professional services. An example of this is Legal Design, by which legal professionals use visual and audio-visual means to communicate more effectively with all stakeholders and make complex subjects easier to understand.
Berkeley Publisher version 4.5 enhances the possibilities of using pictures when generating documents significantly. By adding a picture in a Word file and giving it a title, the Berkeley Publisher will automatically recognize it and you can easily replace or delete the default picture with pictureoutput.
Help us further support your business
Following on from this, Berkeley Bridge is currently studying the possibilities of using the same technique to further extensively support users who want to be capable of using pictures for other purposes, in the future. One might think, for example, about using pictures as infographics. These visual presentations of information are also increasingly used by legal professionals in support of their legal advice. Google Analytics plugin
Using the newly available Google Analytics plugin, authors can now use their Google Analytics codes to track their website traffic and user behavior, including individual nodes on a model. This way getting far greater (detailed) insights into the usage of their models. Berkeley Bridge can assist you in enabling this newly available plugin.
Batch document generation
Berkeley Publisher version 4.5 saves you a lot of time by allowing you to generate documents, which are based on the same template, for multiple persons at the same time. Simply copy/paste the contacts (and any additional information) from Excel and the software will automatically generate specialized documents for each receiver. Now you can address many individuals at once, with just a few clicks.
Forgot password
As of version 4.5 you can allow users to easily start a password recovery procedure themselves. When they do so, your users will receive an e-mail with a reset link. Berkeley Bridge can assist you in making the necessary adjustments in your presentation layer.
Enhanced formula creation
Berkeley Studio 4.5 makes writing formulas easier and faster than ever before. In this new version, the navigation-window (press F6) will assist you in the process of creating a formula. You can easily navigate through existing questions or available functions.
Code completion
Another new exciting feature is code completion. While typing or querying parameters of functions, the software will automatically complete the coding for you, if you press Enter. This speeds up the process of coding significantly and helps users create models faster.
